Question: why do you want to donate it to soapbox

Soapbox science is a great way to not only promote science to non-scientists, but also a great outreach opportunity for women scientists. I attended soapbox science last year and helped out and it was wonderful to watch such high achieving researchers talk to the public in a way that everyone can understand. It’s also wonderful for young women researchers to practice talking about their own research topic in an understandable way. Donating my winnings to Soapbox Science will help to promote the day and fund the activities.
