      That is a good question.
I was looking at different things.
A career guidance teacher, after an assessment, suggested an applied science, like biotechnology. I had no clue what that was but I looked it up and thought, no, maybe not so much biology but it sent me looking for subjects that were more applied rather than pure – pure, maths, pure chemistry, pure physics.
Looking back, I think I was really looking for Engineering science, rather than pure science.
When I read about materials science, it fitted with what I thought I would really like to be doing. It was a EUREKA moment.
So look them all up and see what you think you would really like to be doing.
