• Question: How do you get into scientific jobs cause theirs no advertisement at all

      In Stryker, we have full time recruiters who are looking to find people to work here.
      They use LinkedIn a lot and go out to the colleges and universities to talk to the students. I know other companies do that too.
      There is a shortage of engineers and scientists in this country for the work that needs to be done-

      All the scientific jobs have to by law be posted online, the problem is they could be hidden on the companies own website, or really difficult to find.

      If you want to find a PhD, the best thing to do is find out what area of research you want to work in, and then find a researcher in that area and email them asking if they have any open positions! Otherwise there are websites that can help you find a job like university vacancies, where all the university jobs are posted!

      Other places are great to hear about jobs like twitter, there are accounts which sends out messages when jobs are posted. You can also find jobs on websites like Linkedin!
