      So heat proof or heat resistant can be provided by insulation. I used to work in a company in Cork that makes heat resistant ceramics. They are called refractories. They are made of a number of different ceramics. Ceramics are metal oxides. So the metal oxides we used were magnesium oxide and aluminium oxide. Many other elements were added in smaller amounts.
