Open science is very important for the progression of human knowledge. Full disclosure of all results for free and open access allows people of all opportunities to learn and move their own research forward. Fewer barriers to improving our understanding of science is always a good thing

Open science is really important because it doesn’t block research and information behind paywalls. In my opinion all results should be openly available and not dependent to what journal subscriptions. I try to publish in open-access journals and I will gladly send my research papers on to anyone that requests them!

Science can’t make a difference if nobody knows about it! I believe all major scientific advances and findings should be made open to the public in a way that can be easily understood by non-scientists. That way, we can be clear and open about what we can do to change our world for the better. I also strongly believe that science should have a much bigger role in politics and government affairs too, for the sake of our planet and all animals on it (including us!)
