      I found this really interesting website on the history of fingerprinting!

      Apparently in china in 200BC there are records which detail using handprints as evidence during burglary investigations!
      Then in Persia in 1400AD they started to identify people using their fingerprints
      But it wasn’t until 1788 when a German doctor wrote that everyones fingerprints are unique and different!

      Thanks for asking your question I learned so much! I have a fingerprint sensor on my phone to unlock it but I never thought about how it came to be!
