Seán, congratulations!
During every event we ask the scientists and moderators to nominate their top student — one who’s made the most of the event, shown enthusiasm and asked some really great questions.
Seán from Coláiste Éanna was nominated by the scientists because “they stood out as a student who had a number of good questions in ASK, particularly relating to computer science and careers/education advice and also engaged in conversation in comments.” Their questions included “can nanowires help people who are paralysed?” and “how was the really long names on the periodic table like ununtrium and ununquadium created/found?”
As the student winner, Seán will receive a certificate and a gift voucher.
Well done to Seán, and to everyone who took part. There were so many interesting questions, and comments, but there could only be one winner in each zone.
